My questions are: Can I now claim all the stuff the dead traders left behind? Will the Elves be annoyed about this and stop trading with me? I need their trades as no-one else (not even migrants) have shown up in ages. The remaining traders seemed to be fine with it and then let me commence trading - I made sure to let them make a huge profit. When my tree cutter chopped the trees down, both merchants and all their animals were killed, spreading their goods all over the floor. Now my genius idea to solve this was to cut all the trees down around them just in case there was some pathing issue going on. The traders that made it to the depot kept saying they were still unpacking. They hadn't fallen in, they were officially on the tile above the pool. Most of them made it to the trade depot but 2 of their traders (and associated animals) stopped hovering over a pool just outside the door. Hello again, my fort had an eleven caravan visit, with no wagons.
